Why do you ask? According to you, it's none of your business.

I see you took a triple dose of stupid pills this morning. What business is that of yours if someone chooses to buy a gun in a private party transaction? It is the business of the U.S. Gov't. You should actually do some research.
If a gun is legally brought into the country through an FF Licensee, any sale AFTER the purchase of the gun from an FFL holder ----- between two private individuals ----- is NOT the government's business, or MY business. This excludes machine guns and certain other weapons that are subject to a $200 federal transfer tax.

Oh. So at any private party sale there would be paperwork exchanged verifying all that stuff...right?

Oh. So at any private party sale there would be paperwork exchanged verifying all that stuff...right? There is no reason to. Just like any private party sale, it is smart to draw up a bill of sale identifying the parties involved, a description of the item sold, and the selling price, but it is NOT mandatory. This protects everyone involved in the sale in case questions arise at a later date, but that information does not need to be shared with anyone else.
Once I have bought a gun from an FFL dealer, and have passed the BATFE background check, what I do with that gun from that point forward is no one's business, if I say it is not their business. I am only restricted from KNOWINGLY transferring that firearm to a person who is legally barred from owning it.
You really should bother to learn a few laws here and there. Keep digging your hole.

So you are wrong. .gov doesn't care if the gun is illegal, or more precisely, doesn't care enough to require any paperwork. So if Biden simply adopts your outlook on the matter, opposes illegal guns crossing the border, but not enough to care about paperwork, you're okay with it? If the gun is discovered as it crosses the border, nobody needs to ask any Qs about it?

Why do you ask? According to you, it's none of your business. More "libertarian" pretzel logic from Mutt & Jeff. They don't need no gubment interference -- except when it comes to harassing minority groups, shutting down Planned Parenthood clinics, banning books, and harassing gay people. It's all about FREE-DUMB...

Don't bother to look at what our laws require and don't require. You sound just like Peppermint Patty Psaki.
It's not MY outlook, Peanut. I give you THE LAW.

Our laws REQUIRE a lot of things regarding guns. It just has no way of enforcing them. So next time you complain about the proliferation of illegal guns across ANY border, be it Mexico into the US or Indiana into Illinois, look in the mirror.
