So you are wrong. .gov doesn't care if the gun is illegal, or more precisely, doesn't care enough to require any paperwork. So if Biden simply adopts your outlook on the matter, opposes illegal guns crossing the border, but not enough to care about paperwork, you're okay with it? If the gun is discovered as it crosses the border, nobody needs to ask any Qs about it?

But hell, a man my age should be financially secure enough to retire. I did it at 54, almost 15 years ago.

I love my work. I'll keep working for as long as I can do it. Before my medical problems I was working 60-70 hour weeks. I cut it back to 35-40, so I guess you could say I am semi-retired. |

I really didn't want to retire as early as I did, but a racist and totally stupid (literally) Chief left me with few choices. Ironically, if I had stuck it out, and everything else later happened as it did, I would have been at least interim Chief of Police. |

He was too stupid to pass the police academy, but they grandfathered him, anyway, because he was a "good ol' boy," black style. All the blacks liked BooBoo, but I was on a call with him where I had to stop him from hitting an arrestee over the head with an aluminum clipboard. The arrestee was black, so guess which one of us was looking out for him?
I liked BooBoo anyway, and his wife was one of my nurses when I was in the hospital one time. She was very nice.
But BooBoo was also so stupid that other officers had to write his reports for him. I really don't know if he ever even graduated from high school.
But Port Allen has an elected Police Chief, and incredibly, the people elected him. And when he got in office, guess who was actually running the place? Hint: It wasn't the white officers.
