How does it feel to be moving to a place with twice the death rate by firearm?

How does it feel to be moving to a place with twice the death rate by firearm? And dead bodies in the vanishing drinking water... There were more people taken to the Train Station in the Rural West, even today, including Co, than in any lake, I will speculate. And in one case, there is a zone of death where you MIGHT not be convicted of murder. In theory anyway.

Texas is #1, Cali is #2. You bury people not statistics. Then we have New Hampshire, a purple state, with some of the lowest numbers, rate or actual w essentially no restrictions. Throw in the Dakotas. What makes Cali a hot bed of gun deaths despite their restrictions? A State that is about as far Left as you can get. Why is NH about as good as can be w/o restrictions?

Yeah, cuz the death rate per 100k isn't as important as the total number of those killed in evaluating the danger of firearms. SMH... "You bury people not statistics", eh? If you lived in a town of 1000 people and half of the people were murdered by gunshot in a week, would you rather live there or a town of a million people where 1000 people were murdered by gunshot in a week? Murder rate of 50% or 0.1%. Choose.

Murder rate of 50% or 0.1%. Choose. If I lived in a State that was a killing field, well, what else could I say, I guess. So in the spirit of fairness, OK, % is critical, total deaths carries no weight. And perhaps if they didn't have those restrictions, no telling what that % would be, along w total deaths. But because they do, that conversation is moot.
But if % is your determination factor, back to New Hampshire V Cali. 8.9 V 8.5. Cali has many regs and, as I recall, NH has few, if any. Or consider Maine if you don't think 10.4 is too far removed from Cali. Or Nebraska at 10.1. Suggests to me that rules and regs are not the critical determining factor. Maybe I'm wrong.

frothing fool who can never stay on topic ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Oh, really? Are you in favor of the American government doing what Israel does? Israel “puts effort into identifying potential assailants through behavioral profiling” and “invests heavily in monitoring [social media] profiles of people.” Is that what you want America to be doing? Don't you realize the American government has been doing that for decades? Every time you make a phone call the government records it, checks for certain words or phrases, and stores it. Call your friend Yusef and plot a bombing and five minutes later you'll have the FBI breaking in your door. An idiot in Florida jokingly posted on Facebook, "Hey Siri. Give me directions to the nearest school." He was in jail in less than an hour.

They do it. What are YOU doing to stop it. In the days of the Ferguson troubles, here, LE, Fed and local were surfing social media, looking for information about the next attack by domestic terrorists on gun stores. Were they wrong? I was never a fan of the Patriot Act, which set the bar for .gov intrusion. But I find it amusing that folks here who are hell-bent on promoting the notion of the 'deep state' as the reason for all the ills of America, would turn around and endorse....the deep state. Either you want the FBI monitoring Manafort and Michael Flynn and Carter whatsisname and George Papawhatever, or you're not. Which is it? You don't get to pick and choose WHO gets monitored. Add Hillary, Pelosi, and Schumer to that list and I'm OK with it. FISA Courts are supposed to closely restrict who the FBI snoops on, but when the FBI uses false data to snoop on their political enemies, then the whole process needs to be halted and the FBI leadership investigated.

Valid Qs. Usually most will say, right or wrong, depends. Right, except the law doesn't operate with phrases like, "it depends". But it does. If a Democrat lies to the FBI, he is found "not guilty." The next step should be to prosecute the person that ultimately approved and paid for those lies to be told, but that will never happen.

How does it feel to be moving to a place with twice the death rate by firearm? And dead bodies in the vanishing drinking water... Colorado is a joke, a higher percentage than the Free State of Florida. What the hell is going on in the murderous state of Colorado and why aren't the gun laws working?

How does it feel to be moving to a place with twice the death rate by firearm? America Last, why should California have any deaths with having the restrictive gun laws in the US? Tell us about the criminals who mass murdered in Sacramento. I'm sure it's a lovely story worth sharing. What about the Presbyterian Church in southern California? A doctor is dead saving lives from his murderer. That's two mass shootings in California. Why aren't the most restrictive guns laws in the nation reducing the murder rate to zero? If you can't do better than this, California had best harden their schools before more children are murdered. While at it, explain Gascon and others like him who care more for the criminals that the law abiding citizens.
