They Lightning have won 82 playoff games since 2015, an average of 10 per season. Second place in that time frame is Pittsburgh with 45. Even more impressive is the Bolts didn't qualify for the playoffs in 2017 and got swept by Columbus in 2019.
The Bolts have played 202 playoff games in their history, winning 119. The .589 win % is the best playoff win % in the history of the NHL.
I thought playing 4 of the Original 6 teams in a single playoffs (2015) was cool but during this current playoff run, the Bolts have beaten the number 1, 4 and 7 teams in the regular season standings, each with 110+ points. Now, they face Colorado, the number 2 team from the regular season. One of the toughest runs in recent memory.
Only two players have scored more points in the playoffs in a three year span than Nikita Kucherov's 89. Mario Lemieux (once) and Gretzky (five times). Pretty impressive company, I think.
