Don't usually post in here but we made this in a slow cooker yesterday and it was great. Added in some Andouille sausage, peppers, onions, cumen and chili powder and it had pretty great kick.

We used half red beans and hald black and added 2 cups of street corn along with a few links of the andoule sausage sliced up. We had to cook ours four hours to get the rice really done.
