Ohio State Baseball has already lost an assistant but his replacement is most impressive. Longtime Texas pitching coach Sean Allen will replace Gregg Wallis who took the head coaching job at Grand Canyon. Wallis replaces Andy Stankiewicz who took the USC job.
Wallis was officially announced as part of the new staff this morning so his tenure lasted about 12 hours.
Damon Lessler was also announced as Director of Operations. He was the hitting coach at Charleston Southern last season and spent 3 seasons at Cal Berkeley before that.
Back to Allen, he was arguably the most coveted assistant out there after his surprising dismissal a couple weeks ago. Great hire obviously.
