Just ordered me some 20 round Mini-14 mags

The 30 round mags are too cumbersome and nobody including Ruger has them anyway. 20 rounds is my prefered mag capacity for "assault weapons" like AR-15 as well. I have a bunch of those, PMAGS, even though I have far more 30 round mags for AR's...

Standard capacity mags are 30 rounds no matter what the know nothing ass holes on the left say.
I prefer 'medium' capacity...

Pay the extra money for the Ruger factory mags.

For some reason Mini's don't seem to like anything non-Ruger.
Anyway, I got the best deal I could find for three 20-rounders at Grab-A-Gun. Almost 10 bucks cheaper than the Ruger store prices, and cheaper than anything I could find new on GunBroker.

I've done OK with ProMag STEEL magazines, but plastic ones in my Mini-14 are for fun only.   And jam-clearing practice.

The only things that go into it for social purposes are the Ruger mags.

I've done OK with ProMag STEEL magazines, but plastic ones in my Mini-14 are for fun only.   And jam-clearing practice.

The only things that go into it for social purposes are the Ruger mags.

I don't have a single mag for my Mini that isn't factory Ruger. Being from commiefornia I have a butt ton of 10 round Ruger mags. We used to use the stock 30 round mags that came with new Mini's back in the 80s but those days are long gone behind the iron curtain.

Mutt, you need to get a couple of these mags for you AR. My favorite mag by far even though my PMAGS were about a third the price. But at $18.99 these look like a bargain compared to your typical Glock or SIG pistol mags.

Shit, i have at least 100 AR mags. Just ordered 6 more of the Lancers and will begin drilling out the rivot on all my 20s and 30s that limited them to 10 rounds and made them CA legal.

At a conservative $18.00 each (which is actually not realistic when you add in taxes), that is $1800 that would be better spent on what goes IN to the magazines.

90% of ny AR mags are 4.99 to 5.99 PMAGs I bought quite awhile ago. I only have about a dozen Lancers. The ones I have already were bought a few years ago and were about 10$ ea.
