I decided to serve this beef burgun-thingy over rice ....Came out good ....nice deep, rich flavors Well, I made the thing myself last night after drenching the beef in 2 buckChuck Cabernet for a day, but by the time I finished it, it was 11p, so I stuck it in the Refer and will reheat it tomorrow. Tasted daaaaaammmmmnnnnnn goood off the spoon though.
So far, so good.Don't you me 2buckfittycent Chuck?

So far, so good. Don't you me 2buckfittycent Chuck? Weeeeellllll, I finished the prep and had it for dinner last night, and it was good. Now I got this big o pot o beef as leftovers that open up a lot of options. (open face sammich fo lunch, comin' up, for instance)
Stopping and starting as I did didn't help nor did it hurt it either I don't think. The meat sorta fell apart a bit in the reheat, but that seemed the only downside.
A word of caution. Somehow in the process the thing gained a lot of salt and I was not happy with that. I added salt where indicated, but it was too much. Go very easy on salt.

Go very easy on salt.If I had to guess I'd say you probably reduced the liquid too much. That said, it looked really good. Nice job, oh padawan cook....
