California Introduces Bill That Mirrors NYC For CCW

In that bill it outlines "sensitive areas" off limits to anyone carrying with a CCW...the final kicker is section (26) "Any other privately-owned commercial establishment that is open to the public, unless the operator of the establishment clearly and conspicuously posts a sign at the entrance of the building or on the premises indicating that license holders are permitted to carry firearms on the property. Signs shall be of a uniform design as prescribed by the Department of Justice and shall be at least four inches by six inches in size."

THIS MEANS EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST TRAVELING FROM POINT A TO POINT B...YOU CAN'T EVEN GET GASOLINE AT A GAS STATION WITHOUT ONE OF THOSE SIGNS. THIS MEANS IF YOU GO TO A HARDWARE STORE OR ANY BUSINESS WITHOUT ONE OF THOSE SIGNS...FORGET IT.

ANY TRAIN, BUS STATION, AIRPORT AND PARKING LOTS...FORGET IT.
ANY HOTEL..WITHOUT A SIGN...FORGET IT...
ANY PARK, STADIUM...FORGET IT
ANY PLACE THAT SELLS ALCOHOL - RESTAURANT/BAR/LIQUOR STORE - FORGET IT.
ANY BANK (YOU'RE MAKING A CASH DEPOSIT FROM YOUR BUSINESS) - FORGET IT.
You go to a shopping center..park in the large parking lot...and there's just one business without that sign...FORGET IT....
ANY HOTEL WITHOUT THAT SIGN...EVEN THE PARKING LOT...FORGET IT


They have a lot of hoops for a person to jump through in addition to a lot in fees to be paid.....and they outlined a huge number of sensitive places...but the final kicker was (26)...ANY BUSINESS without that sign saying firearms and ccws are ok....

They are getting rid of "Good Cause" as well as "being of good moral character"...but they are making everything by default a "sensitive" place rendering the carry permit as being utterly useless.
When a person steps outside of their home...they have to go somewhere and engage in some kind of business...or activity like going to a park...or going to the hospital...well...everywhere essentially EXCEPT for a public road and areas where hunting is allowed...is deemed a "sensitive area"....

So to summarize the NY and California bills...."Anywhere you could possibly need a defend yourself, you are not allowed to carry a firearm." See how easy that is. Yep, back to court we head. No huge surprise this filth is still continuing to try and pervert the law.

And the California law requiring a business owner to post a sign essentially welcoming CCW holders is a recipe for opening them to additional legal liability if anything goes wrong, hence IMO the reason why California designed the law this way. No business owners are going to want to step into that potential liability.

Governor Nuisance and the CA. State Legislature are doing a great job.

They are making it even easier for people to decide they no longer want to live under tyranny, and it is much better to live in a state that HONORS a Constitutional right.

Make a sign, then get one of those things you can wet and stick on a window or smooth surface. Put up the sign when you enter and take it down when you leave. (Better yet, make up signs stating NO ONE ALLOWED INSIDE UNLESS THEY ARE ARMED and stick them on every business owned by or catering to LGBTQ fools and government buildings)
