That's because when he did the prostate check both hands were on your shoulders... I wondered why I kept feeling that bumping on my ass. Saw my Primary Care for an early clearance for the next hip replacement surgery in December yesterday. As I was having my digital prostate exam all I could think of was this post.

Thinking about a prostate exam as well....take care man

Hey Darrell...are you using a wheelchair to get around or a cane or just using pain relievers to get thru your day? Thinking about a prostate exam as well....take care man As of about a week ago I'm using two canes again. I worked my way through one cane, two canes, walker, scooter over the years. Now, with two joints replaced so far and the third in a few weeks, I've worked my way back up to the canes. I would still use my scooter if we were to go to Disney Springs or someplace like that which required a ton of walking. I am hopeful that after this last surgery I can get back to walking without any aids. I don't think we will have to replace the right knee, at least not for a few years. Still got a lot of problems with arthritis in the lower back but if I can get the A Fib fixed and get off blood thinners then I'd be willing to take an epidural shot for that.

Hers a pic to help get the blood flowing...LOL!!! You know, surprisingly, the whole multiple operations thing hasn't really been that bad. The worst of the whole thing was the flexion exercises trying to get my knee flexion back following the knee replacement. The hip replacement was a piece of cake and I expect the next one to be the same. My right knee I'm hoping we can just do a clean out and move on. Then I can go south and appreciate some real beauties in Miami cheerleader uniforms. <g>

Meanwhile, I'm laying in bed at ORMC with a brand spankin' new right hip. This one is much more sore than the left one as it hurts to move the leg even an inch. Hopefully this settles down quickly and the rehab goes as well as the left did.

I imagine this will feel quite a lot better in a few days. Hip rehab is a piece of cake compared to a knee.

My oldest boy got himself a purebred Australian Shepherd in July. Think she was about two months when she was released to him. He has taken classes, watched videos and read everything he can find on training her but puppies are going to puppy. Best thing g he bought is a training collar that vibrates when you push the remote button. Personally I didn't know puppies go through teething just like babies and they chew on everything and want to bite everything, including you. He wants to get another dog but swears this time he will get a 2 to 3 year old rescue like his brother did. He got the most gentle and sweet Blue Heeler I've ever seen. The Blue Heeler The Australian Shepherd Just for good measure, my right hip before the surgery.

No, last puppy we bought I gave my wife about a year before we got married. And we have our 50th anniversary this spring. We've always had cats after that dog died. Both if us felt we couldn't replace our dog after 16 years.

As your son is finding out, puppies chew anything and everything, especially your hands and fingers. Funny thing is, pain in the ass while it's happening but you look back on it with fondness. Kind of like raising kids.
I hear you on replacing dogs...very tough to do.
