Had my post op with my surgeon this morning and all is well. I've got great range of motion back but will need to continue strengthening. So, the next logical step, a new hip. Going to do my "good" hip first just because it hurts more. Bit as the x-rays show, I don't really have hips anymore.  |

Damn brother...I hope you signed up for that extended warranty thing... LOL!! I'm good. I'm getting into this socialism thing. My Medicare Advantage plan has paid all but about $300 for my new knee so far, and $100 of that was for the ice machine they sent me. This place has gone easy on my surgeries. My best buddy from college posted on Facebook he was glad they could still get replacement parts for antiques. Once I get this hip done I'm not sure what's next. My right hip is actually in worse condition than the left but it doesn't hurt. The left one hurts like a sob. Then there is that little ablation thing the cardiologist wants to do. So its either walk without a walker by Christmas or shoot for normal sinus rhythm by Christmas. |

Basically they cut your butt cheek in half then sew it back together when done. Don't really feel the hip but dann, my butt hurts. |
