A little disappointed, personally... The story on Judge doesn't say who made the call. If I was Boone, I'd leave the decision to the player... BUT: Judge would face Rangers righty Glenn Otto (6-10, 4.72). I'm not digging deep for how the two have faired against each other, but again, the competitor... I did get this out of the story on Arraez... Even if Judge does play, he'd need a Herculean effort to push for the crown, as shown here: If Arraez goes 0-for-4, Judge needs to go 3-for-4 to win If Arraez goes 1-for-4, Judge needs to go 4-for-4 to win If Arraez goes 2-for-4, Judge needs to go 5-for-5 to win Forgotten story tomorrow, unless Arraez goes 0-5 today. |

I thought Yaz was the last one back in the '60s...I either didn't know (or MAY have forgotten, but I don't think so) about Cabrera. 10 years ago... |

I think it's bush league that Arraez has been sat three of the last five games. If he really is the batting champion, let him prove it on the field not by sitting him so his average doesn't slip. |

One of the stories I read said he was a bit hobbled already with some minor injuries...I think it's kinda neat that at the tale end of the season, an 0-fer and a 5-5 could tip the balance... It ain't over till it's over....how true, how true. |
