What most Americans still don't perceive or understand about the post-WWII era is the uncanny CIA aptitude for psy ops-- manipulating public perceptions and opinions with mass media.
The men who established the CIA after 1947-- Frank Wisner, Allen Dulles, James Angleton, Edward Lansdale, Phillip Graham, Cord Meyer, et.al.-- were all involved in OSS psy ops during WWII, and they had a very keen knowledge of media techniques for manipulating populations.
Allen Dulles, himself, cultivated personal relationships with numerous wealthy media moguls-- Henry Luce, (Time- Life) William S. Paley, (CBS) Arthur Sulzberger, (NYT) Katherine Graham, (WaPo) etc.
C.D. Jackson, who purchased and locked up the Zapruder film for 20 years, was a former OSS man who served as Luce's CEO for Life magazine.
These pervasive CIA relationships with U.S. media owners were exposed by William Colby during the Church Committee investigations in the 1970s, and they have persisted to the present day.
Some people became aware of the problem during the Bush/Cheney Iraq WMD scam promoting the 2003 invasion of Iraq, but most Americans are still unaware of the mass media's role in covering up the facts about the 9/11 op that was used to launch the multi-trillion dollar Bush/Cheney "War on Terror."

That would be an easy trick for these guys. Have you figured out yet that Raytheon's remote-piloting GPS technology was successfully used to take off, maneuver, and land a Boeing jetliner without a pilot by August of 2001? Have you figured out yet that the WTC buildings were expertly demolished by pre-planted explosives on 9/11?
