just as I imagined a month ago….phillies down 5-0 on the road against a team that hasn’t loss in a month with the presumptive cy young winner and future ball of famer dealing and would need 17 outs from their bullpen against one of the top lineups in mlb.
phillies win 6-5.
sometimes you just shrug your shoulder and enjoy the moment.

The Astros were 29-0 this season when they had a 5 run lead___Now they are 29-1. Could the Phillies with the worst record going into the playoffs win this series? This would kill Walt.    |

It turns out that my annoyance with .500 teams winning it all was just the annoyance and depression of the Dodgers early exit talking. I am thoroughly enjoying the Phillies doing their thing. Watching them come back from 5 down against Verlander to tie it was epic baseball. |
