I was watching part of the first half of that game, then later checked the score and it was 18-0.

(I mistakenly thought the Cowboys had gone up 13-0 after the Dak Prescott bootleg TD.)

Couldn't figure out how the Cowboys had scored 5 points in the final 7:00 minutes, and I thought they had scored on a safety and a FG.

Can't remember ever seeing an NFL game where a kicker missed three consecutive extra points.

at least he made the last one, so he's on a positive roll. . hell even the tampa fans cheered him (especially those who moved south from the bronx-lol) for finally getting his aim down.

btw, maher missed more xp's last night (4) than he has fg attempts all season (29-32 for the year). just like getting the yips on the green or w/a wedge (not that I'd know anything about that, as far as any of you know. ha). making that last one imho means he'll be fine.

i've enjoyed them as well.  they are actually pretty good interviewers too.  you can sense the guests are sometimes nervous at first but they are good at getting them to feel a bit more at ease.  also been fun to see eli as sort of a bit of a goofball character that you don't really see during his playing days.

one of the things he debunked monday night was the narrative of halftime adjustments. he said fans/pundits have a completely wrong vision… peyton said between halves players ‘handle their business’, have a couple oranges and the head coach basically says ‘let’s got get them’ in the 3 minutes or so teams are together in the locker room.

I'd guess that if adjustments are made, they are up in the coaches booth, not on the field or locker rooms.
