I thought san fran would be a great spot for a year for brady. they are a healthy, decent QB away from possibly being super bowl favorites next year. and he's from the area. maybe he realized how good greg olsen as fox NFL sunday's top color analyst? and wants to steal the job before olsen further cements his role?

Fun fact-----
Tom Bradys very first completion in the NFL went to Rod Rutledge, his last, to Julio Jones...both are BAMA alumni.

Definitely the end of an NFL era with Brady's retirement and the rise of several new stars at QB. We'll probably never see another Tom Brady, but the young guy who reminds me the most of Tom Brady is Joe Burrow. Burrow has a similar knack for standing tall in the pocket and making precise throws in the big games. He narrowly lost that Super Bowl game last year, and narrowly missed out on returning to the Big Game this year. Of course, winning the Big Game requires a great supporting cast, and Brady had one for years in New England.

Both he and Brady were more or less draftday afterthoughts. Success, IMO, is more impressive for them in that nobody saw it coming.

Something about Burrow's game reminds me of Brady. He's cool under fire-- doesn't get rattled in the pocket.
