February 1, 2023 A witness said the gunman muttered “I’m the killmonger” before entering the station and firing several shots A Metro employee who tried to stop a gunman targeting commuters Wednesday morning was shot and killed on the platform of the Potomac Avenue Metro station in a shooting spree that also injured three others. One person was taken into custody by D.C. police, authorities said at a news conference outside the station in Southeast Washington. Police said there were four victims, including the Metro worker who was fatally shot. Two others were conscious and breathing after being shot in the legs, police said, while another person suffered a hand injury. Metro identified the employee as Robert Cunningham, 64, who was a mechanic in the transit agency’s power department. Transit police and D.C. police responded at 9:21 a.m. and found what Executive Assistant Chief Ashan Benedict described as a “series of individual” shooting scenes that started on a Metrobus coming from Maryland and ended on the Metro platform.

If mass shootings occur in areas where there are little or no gun control laws, could it be that honest citizens turn into homicidal killers and know that they have a better chance of getting all the firepower they need without any hassle? LMAO! Are you REALLY that stupid? There are very few people who go straight from honest citizens to "homicidal killers."
Most murderers have a nice history of committing other crimes long before they actually murder someone.
