Then get yourself a FightLite Herring Model 2024. It's a lever action rifle that uses standard AR magazines of ANY capacity.
IMHO, the lever action would be faster for the average person than a bolt action would be, and the Herring 2024 has an oversize loop lever that should be easy to operate. The advantage of the AR magazine over a tube magazine is obvious, and it allows for the use of spitzer bullets, as well. I might have to save up for one of these, just because......

Thankfully, no one except Bitem and HIS thugs are trying to take my semiauto sporting rifles.
I'm not sure if there is anyone around here who wants to die violating my rights. Yes, they would probably get me eventually, too, It would just be a shame for the speakers at the cops' funerals to have to say "he [she] died trying to enforce an illegal, unconstitutional order. He [she] should have been out looking for REAL criminals."
