so, 6 teams are left standing in the 2 most prominent college basketball tournaments, and half of them (florida atlantic, uab, north texas) are from conference usa. did anyone happen to watch the wisconsin-n texas nit semi last night? badgers controlled the first 31:00, up 41-29 at the half and 54-46 w/9:00 left. uw did not score another point, losing 56-54. never seen anything like it. badgers ended the game going 0-10 from the field, 0-2 from the line, and 3 turnovers.

didnt catch the game__WOW...UW going 9 minutes without scoring. They caught Buckeye-itis

Talent and depth are, joined at the hip, issues for Wisky. And while they have a decent team, they don't have a creator who can get his own, 30% of the time he tries. They don't have a quality, F this shit, I'm gonna score or be shooting free throws, guy. And they have had a few of those guys in the past. They currently have guys w steel elbows or don't have the talent to be that guy. Talking heads speak to all of the close games they lost and suggest that could change. Except they don't have a take charge closer. The last 5 seconds of the NT game was an example of that.

Second half troubles have been an ongoing experience this year. With all 5 starters coming back, unless Guard opens it up to, "everyone will have to compete for a job" and get a cpl of TP players who can compete, next year will be rinse and repeat.
