Continues to amaze.
In his 16th ML season, he notched his 200th career win last night, going 7 innings, no runs, 3 hits, 9 Ks.
If this guy cannot get to 300 wins, (and it does not look like he will), I am thinkin' it may never happen again.

And I agree with you, it will never happen again. Not in the era of pitch counts, five-man (and six-man in some cases) rotations and overly cautious training staffs that put players on the IL for the littlest things. On an unrelated noted, this is a pretty bizarre sequence resulting in Scherzer getting tossed today. |
