I am in the market over the weekend and they are giving away a tray of chuck steak. Cheapskate that I am, I bought it.
I do not expect it will be edible just tossing it in a grill, so the Q is: should I bother trying to make this a grilled steak, or just use it for what I expected when I bought it...slow cook stuff?

I would make a beef stew with it.

That was my idea when I bought it. UPDATE. I stuck it in a marinade of olive oil, Worchestershire, garlic and S&P and let it sit all day. Then pan-fried it, but at a lower temp, and with some of the marinade with some red wine added; took about 20 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. Came out pretty good.
