Not surprisingly, this is the first time in NHL history that on back-to-back nights a player has scored four goals and lost. But what makes Pavelski's and Draisaitl's feats unique is they scored all of their team's goals in the game.

I didn't think either LV or Edmonton looked very good last night.

I didn't think either LV or Edmonton looked very good last night. The Oilers and Bruins are neck and neck for biggest underachievers in recent years but it goes to show you, you can have a ton of talent (like Edmonton with two of the best overall players in the world) and not be successful when it matters most. Same thing with the Rangers, who added Tarasenko and Patrick Kane at the deadline. Two really good lines and not much else and they get bounced in the first round. When the Bolts won their back to back Cups, they rolled four lines at you and every one of them was productive in their own way. It is a recipe for success for sure.
