Correct. But drag shows are not "family friendly." Period! Why would you want small children exposed to this? I used to enjoy The Benny Hill Show. He was hilarious and a lot of his comedy was risqué. I didn't watch it with my kids. Do you get it? In the movie Tombstone, when the handsome actor is killed, the sort of gay deputy tells his boss "we have to have some law." Well in this case, drag shows, we have to have some standards. Would you agree that the content of the show matters more than the costume or who is wearing it? No. I took my kids to Ringling Brothers/ B & B circus many times. I never saw a clown costume made to be sexually provocative. I never saw a clown wear a strap on vagina or dildo. I never saw a clown simulate sex. What matters is what we expose children to, costume or act. What I wonder is why do these people want kids in their shows? Why do you want them to have kids in their shows?

Yes, a drag show is a show. For adults. A circus clown isn't a drag show. Stretch.
Why is a drag show only for adults? Wouldn't the content matter more than the costume? If I take the Ringling Bros clowns and have then simulate sex acts on stage, does the outfit somehow make it appropriate for kids? Does dressing up a shapely woman in a french maid outfit on Halloween make it suitable for kids because the woman's gender matches the intent of the outfit? In short, What is the problem with the costume? ANY costume? It's not difficult to understand. I believe kids should be kids.

I would agree that what you describe is not suitable for kids. But first, have you ever seen any of that at a drag show intended specifically for kids? Or was what you describe performed at a drag show aimed at adults in which parents decided to bring their kids? There is a significant difference in intent that goes to the heart of the matter. Second, if the show was thoroughly G-rated, would it matter to you if the all actors were in drag?

The problems I read about in Miami and Orlando were drag shows that were inappropriate for kids that they allowed kids into. Or was what you describe performed at a drag show aimed at adults in which parents decided to bring their kids? See above. There is a significant difference in intent that goes to the heart of the matter. Not really. As I noted before, we have to have some standards. We don't allow kids to smoke or drink alcohol, by law, even if their parents say it's okay. We know it is not good for their health. Just as we know sexual situations, etc., are not good for their mental health. Second, if the show was thoroughly G-rated, would it matter to you if the all actors were in drag? Not a bit.

Now this is BEYOND stupid!! Clowns are actors, dumbass. And they do NOT dress in drag. They dress in clothes that are funny, period. Are rodeo clowns male or female, or however they dress to do their jobs? Is Al Pacino a queer just because he played one in "Dog Day Afternoon?" Is he a psycho drug dealer and killer because he portrayed one in "Scarface?"
You are now at a new low for lunacy, Walt. But keep going. I'll bet you can get even MORE stupid.
Bingo. Now you get it. It's a show. No.
REAL trannies are NOT a show. They are mentally ill human beings.
Should they be allowed to live that way? YES, but it should not be called "normal" by anyone.
Biological men should NOT be allowed to participate in women's sports.
SCIENCE should decide that, not people with agendas.

That would depend on the kid, wouldn't it? Given the variety of issues kids deal with including gender identity, a parent might deem something suitable for their kid who might have different issues than your kid. Who are you to dictate to them what is best for their child? Don't want your kid to see it? Fine. Don't go. End of problem.

We are all over the place on this. Permit me to suggest that in the drag show, the dress is part of the show, actually even if they have suitable, maybe even above average, song and dance capabilities, it is the show. You go there because the show is in drag. Not because the entertainers are engaging in a craft and just happen to be trans dressed in drag. It's not about a lifestyle choice. Or acceptance. It's a show and drag is the draw. It isn't a byproduct. In the 60s and 70s anyway, it was a go to for shows around the country. Club My-O-My in NO catered to mostly white hetero couples who came there in tour busses. And they didn't go there to hear a musical in a shitty part of NO.

Are you saying all clean-shaven men are actually women or children? If you can explain how clean shaven men have the little bits of peach-fuzz common with unshaven woman or boys, I'll be happy to answer. Still too gutless to answer a question, as usual.

It's not difficult to understand. I believe kids should be kids. Can you explain how a G-rated show with actors in drag would stop a kid from being a kid? Little kids play 'dress up' to pretend they are adult all the time, and gender is not generally something they care much about. Little kids have basically no concept of gender. Or sexuality. Let kids be kids, or as Billy Dean says "let them be little because they're only that way for a while." Plenty of time for them to see the real world, they don't have to be rushed into it.
