1. Ohtani pitched 1 hit, shutoff baseball in the first game of a doubleheader, and the hit two HRs as Dh in the 2nd game.
2. The Cincinnati kid DeLaCruz led off the game vs the Dodgers with a double that he legged into a triple.
From the batters box to 3rd base (90 yards) in 10.84 sec.
For those old enough, he reminded me of the ThreeDog, Dodger Willie Davis from BITD.
We are witnessing some of the best baseball ever played...

We are witnessing some of the best baseball ever played... it's a shame that a lot of the country doesn't get to see ohtani more w/the time difference for weekday night games... he's literally babe ruth of the 21st century. and I can verify that all my redleg buddies simply can't get enough of delacruz. he's literally reawakened baseball in cincinnati, sparking a very young team to the top of the nl central. |
