Rutgers was decent on defense last year and awful on offense. They return 7 starters on the defensive side of the ball, and too many questions around NW with all their offseason shenanigans.... Rutgers.

14. LSU V FLORIDA STATE +2.5 (AT ORLANDO)

Game is actually on Sunday. 220, 221, whatever it takes. Even if I wasn't an FSU homer, I'd still pick FSU. Should be the best FSU team since maybe 2014. Experience laden offense, with some sort of absurd number of starts for the offensive line. Superstars at WR, RB, TE, and QB. Oh, and an upgraded defense. FSU should have won with a little breathing room after muffing a toss pitch on the goal line with a minute left. What would have been 31-17 with no time, turned into a 24-23 score with no time left and an extra point....that was blocked. I'd take the Noles straight up in Orlando, where they haven't lost, but the points will work too. Noles.

15. CLEMSON AT DUKE +13

I think this game is Monday. 221, 222, whatever it takes. Don't sleep on Duke, they have a sneaky good quarterback in Riley Leonard. I know they're a sexy darkhorse pick for this game, but I like the points. Duke.
