Well hell! Tripped about 3 in the morning a few weeks ago going into the bathroom. Fell forward hard on my new knee. Thankfully it seems to be fine. But evidently while trying to protect it as I went down I landed on my right elbow. X-rays were negative so we played the waiting game for a couple of weeks. Didn't get better so I had a MR Monday. Got my report today and I have full thickness tears of the top two tends of the rotator cuff and a partial tear of the one underneath the shoulder blade. So I managed to tear 3 of 4 tendons that make up the rotator cuff.

But I've been retired almost 14 years so I'll wait and see what my ortho says. You may be sore going into spring training but you'll be ready before the All Star break. No doubt!! Hang in there. |

I suspect. Two full thickness tears was automatically off to surgery when I was in practice. But I've been retired almost 14 years so I'll wait and see what my ortho says. You may be sore going into spring training but you'll be ready before the All Star break. No doubt!! Hang in there. Just praying I don't lose my fastball. <g> |
