There has been a challenge made to the change of Trn's pick late.
The challenge states a rule claimed to be in place that no picks can be altered after the kickoff of the first game of the week. A post from 2014 was posted as evidence of this rule.
I do not recall such a rule and have always considered the actual kickoff of the game in question to be the cutoff for changing picks.
I need a replay call from the members. 1. Is there such a rule that after kickoff of the first game of the week that no changes can be made? 2. What do you think the rule should be for changing picks late?

This isn’t Vegas with money on the line, it’s a shits and giggles contest.

If first kickoff of first game were the rule, all picks would have to be in before, say, a Thurs kickoff. OTOH, (and this never happens), someone could theoretically pick games all through the day on Saturday, which would be a nightmare to regulate and compile. Also, an early result of a game could influence a day's pick later, giving a player an advantage. So perhaps first KO of first game THAT DAY is the way to go.

Good point and yes, I was referring more to Saturday games. Forgot about the Thu/Fri games. IMO, yes…having picks in before first kickoff of that day’s game seems reasonable.
