I know a bit about them.
Do you have a model in mind? What is it for? If hunting, what kind of and where? If it's for plinking, and a .22lr, a variety of choices that depends on your pocketbook. Cowboy shooting? If it's because they look cool and you just want one.........? Their specially-formulated hardened brass receivers are great looking guns.
But investment, in general, is not something I'd attribute to buying a new firearm, today. Especially if they continue to make them.
They do, however, make an excellent replica of the old Henry, chambered in a .44-40 WCF or .45 Colt. Civil War era Henry rifles can sell for big bucks at current auctions. Their replica is a better gun. Will their replica maintain its value, assuming inflation for even newer makes? Maybe.
They primarily make high quality, reasonably priced, lever action rifles, from .22lr to large cal, center fires and they have great employees.
One problem for you will be your hand size, perhaps. At 6'8" (?) you must have a big hand w meatier fingers. Get a gun w a loop lever or make sure your fingers fit in the lever. And if you're going to wear gloves, when shooting, wear them when you try the firearm out.
I think there's a Cabelas in Fort Mill SC, just S of Charlotte and they usually have a goodly amount of Henry products on hand. If they don't have that special rifle, they can have it shipped to them from any BassPro/Cabelas around the country or I think Henry will sell you one and send it to Cabelas to process the paperwork/background check, for a minimal fee.

To be honest I've been seeing their commercial on TV a lot and thought that some of their guns look pretty cool although I did notice most of the rifles looks small and they didn't show any of the handguns. After what you've told me, I may need to rethink this idea. I will probably go into the cabella and take a look. Thanks for the info!

You were probably looking at the .22lr Golden Boy and they are smaller. The bigger calibers are larger. The company makes a high quality product, competitively priced. Cabs would be a good first step.

Been thinking about investing in a Henry rifle, anybody got one? I own a Henry H100L .22 lever action with the large "Rifleman" lever loop. It's quite accurate and reliable, which is all you need in a lower priced plinker.
I wouldn't consider it an investment, although the price has gone up since I bought mine.
Buy it because you want to play cowboy inexpensively, and you'll be well pleased.
