IP addresses

I don't know if you folks are aware, but at any one time, this board is monitored by dozens of "GUESTS" IP addresses.
Out of curiosity, I started tracking down some of them.

Turns out most are data collection sites such as GoDaddy.
I presume this is how ProBoards makes money.

Question for the board:

Has anyone noticed advertising popping up that somehow references things we write about here?
I haven't paid much attention to the idea of a connection, but I am curious if anyone has noticed it or not.

I don't mean this site.
I mean generally, since once this board is mined by the infobots, and a post leaves this site, it's free to roam the internet as bits of data about your particular IP address.

You don't think whatever news feed you get isn't textured based on your INET history?
You don't think that Google search results aren't prioritized to fit your INET history?
