I agree he used to be and maybe still is. It was an honest Q. Wasn't a shot at SB. Is Philly a SB contender w him? Is Philly the dumpster fire many think it is? I was actually thinking The Packers would sign him. But they grabbed Josh Jacobs and released Aaron Jones, who could return for less money. Then they may draft Wisky's Braelon Allen or Isaac Guerendo in the 4th round.

difficult to say.  barkley alone will not make them contenders.  they will likely need some of the younger guys on rookie deals to develop and get better on the defensive side of the ball.  but they did hire an offensive coordinator known for passing the ball to his backs (kellen moore).  and barkley is an elite at blitz protection which is something they badly lacked and opposing coaches exploited.  just watch the eagles on third and obvious passing downs last year.  they were bad partially b/c they couldn't pick up the blitz.    in new york, barkley was the only playmaker playing with an average QB and a below average offensive line.  in philly, he will just be another piece (AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, etc) with a very good QB and a really good offensive line.  just like san fran sort of got the best out of mccaffrey b/c they have so many other good players, i expect something similiar in philly.  

winning the SB takes a lot of variables....talent, execution (ie coaching), luck (ie injuries, strength of schedule, etc).  hard to predict each year.
