Wherever Doc is tonight, you can bet he’s smiling. Hell of a game, and Clark was some kind of good tonight.

I watched her in the Colorado game on Saturday, for the first time, and I noticed that she has a Larry Bird-style, all-around game. She can hit the 3s, but she can also drive and pass well. Fun to watch.

Fun to watch. If you have only been watching occasionally, you have missed out on some great basketball. We are always impressed by her deep 3's and driving to the basket, but what impresses us the most is her vision of the court and her passing. Lisa Bluder, her coach says she sees things before it happens. To call her a generational talent is actually an understatement. I got to see her play 3 times this year at Carver Hawkeye, my youngest brother had bought season tickets last fall. He and I were talking yesterday before the game, and he made an interesting statement to me. He said, "you know, even if they would happen to lose tonight, we have seen something that few people will ever witness in person in their lifetime." He was right. All of Iowa really would like to see her stick around for one more year but we wish her well in her future endeavors. While the spotlight is on Caitlin, it has to be mentioned that she also has a great supporting cast, Gabby Marshall doesn't do a lot of scoring, but her defense is tremendous, and when she starts hitting her 3's, it's lights out for whomever the Hawkeyes are playing. Kate Martin is another player who gets looked over a bit, but she too is always consistent in her play, both offense and defense. Sydney Altopher stepped in when Molly Davis was injured and has actually elevated Iowa's game. Hannah Stuelke is just a sophomore and they only thing lacking in her part is confidence. When they are clicking, they are an absolute pleasure to watch and fortunately, they are usually clicking. And yes, I was smiling from ear-to-ear last night and have spent most of the morning reading articles and watching interviews from last nights victory. Go Lady Hawkeyes!!!

Go Lady Hawkeyes!!!Court vision is the most impressive part of her game imo. She knows where other players are before they know it. It’s a gift. Bird and Magic had that same gift.
