Never grow a wishbone where a backbone ought to be.
We can disagree without being disagreeable.

I still vividly remember the shock of hearing about O.J. and those gruesome murders -- the white Bronco on the freeway, etc.
I was in a state of disbelief for a while. O.J. Simpson-- the SoCal sports hero?
I had always thought of O.J., prior to that incident, as the great USC and Buffalo Bills' RB who was a charming sports caster on the sidelines, etc.

They should just cremate him... nobody will be giving him a eulogy.

What the reflex execration of O.J. misses, IMO, is the epic tragedy.
WaPo published a photo essay of his life today. Many of us witnessed the entire saga.
The guy was a Heisman Trophy winner, and one of the most celebrated running backs in the history of football. One of the greats.
He was an All-American football hero, and a good looking, charming sportscaster. Then he became a murderer.
It's a modern era Greek tragedy.

They should just cremate him... nobody will be giving him a eulogy. They should just flush him. OJ sunk so low that even Bruce Jenner tweeted "good riddance'...

I would've thought that you would be in that group of people that say 'he was found not guilty in the court of law'. I enjoyed watching him play as well.

On the contrary, I have often referred to the O.J. case as an example of a miscarriage of justice-- in response to people who claim that "Not Guilty" verdicts in court are proof of innocence.
