Finally!!! American combat veterans who suffer from PTSD or other wartime maladies can NOT be wholesale forbidden from owning firearms. To simplify, the VA cannot unjustly say "SSgt. Hector is deemed cuckoo by our hand picked shrinks and is hereby forbidden from possessing any firearm." End of discussion.
Nope, no more. The patient must be examined individually, in person, by a group of experts, and PROPERLY ADJUDICATED that he is incompetent with a firearm, or to conduct other normal actions in his life. Some of them have been judged to be incapable of handling their own monetary benefits. There should be no "one blanket fits all solution," and now thanks to NRA, there isn't..
To be clear here, I am totally on board with LEGALLY preventing truly demented patients from having access to firearms, and mostly as a protection to the patient HIMSELF.

I had no idea that disabled American veterans are of only one race or sex. That's not what the T2T and other ads show.
