I was watching B10 women's hockey last night and the thought struck me:

Wait...USC and hockey in the same sentence? Could it happen? I bet USC never had to ponder that concept before. I think it would be great...but really weird.

Change that to USC and bull hockey in the same sentence. Paul Finebaum thinks Lincoln Riley is on the hot seat this coming season. I see predictions of four or five losses. What's your thought on this?

Wisky plays them in LA on 9/28, the week after Bama mud stomps them in Madison. USC can go 11-1 for all I care but Wisky has got to pound them that day. I had planned on going just because but my wife has scheduled a trip to Europe, so no joy.

I don't have any idea.
Miller Moss isn't exactly Heisman material and we don't have a deep group of WRs, so IMO, they are going to have to rely on a run game and defense, neither of which Riley knows a lot about. That said, the new DC seems to be clicking with the D and has been given a free hand, so who knows. I notice that two 5 stars on D decommitted from next year's class, so there's that.

Bottom line, I don't think 4-5 losses is out of the realm of possibility, but the idea Riley is on a hot seat is nonsense.

USC used to be my 2nd favorite college team….gotta put that on hold for now with Riley as their coach.

They miss Blue this year but they do get PSU in Madison, after a "bye" week playing Northwestern. And PSU has TOSU the next week. MAybe. They also get O in Madison but that may be a reach unless there is a snow storm on Nov 16 in Madison. The average date for the first 1″+  snowfall in Madison though is Nov. 27.

Nope. Certainly a break favoring Wisky. Vegas has their O/U at 6.5. If I was to bet, I'd bet the over. I think they bracket at 7-5/8-4/9-3. All of their road games are winnable (One of them V NW is at Lambeau). Three home games appear rugged. But absent, Oregon and Alabama, the Badgers won’t be big underdogs in any of their games. I do think PSU is a possible W.
