Not looking good for him at this point, that's for sure. Apparently someone on Twitter blamed Urban Meyer for this situation. LOL

Former Gator Josh Evans blames Sugar Bowl no-show on players "feeling sorry for themselves"
Gators missed out on national title game, then laid an egg against Louisville
By Edgar Thompson | UF Swamp Things Orlando Sentinel 7:19 p.m. EDT, June 19, 2013
Former Gators safety Josh Evans was back in his old stomping grounds on Wednesday to help drum up interest in his new team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Evans, a sixth-round pick in April, feels like he is adjusting well to the NFL game and even has worked some with the first-team defense during OTAs.
During a Jaguars "caravan" to Gainesville, Evans also took a moment to reflect on his final game at Florida. The Gators' shocking, season-ending 33-23 loss in the Sugar Bowl to Louisville detracted from an otherwise special year for coach Will Muschamp's 11-2 Gators.
Evans said he eventually watched a replay of the game alone and has his theory on what went wrong.
"I think we had a lot of distractions," he said. "People were feeling sorry for themselves they weren’t in the national championship. Personally, myself, I don’t feel like we all bought in as a team for that game and really gave it our all.
"We didn’t play Gator football – and you saw the result."
The Gators ended the regular season ranked third in the BCS standings behind Alabama and Norte Dame, but looked nothing like a national title contender during their first major bowl game since the 2009 season.
Florida trailed 30-10 at one point as Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater torched the nation's fifth-ranked defense.
Evans, the Gators' leading tackler in 2012, said Bridgewater's performance blindsided Florida, a 14-point favorite and SEC power facing the Big East champion.
Since that game, Bridgewater has gone from a player unknown by casual fans to arguably the best pro prospects at his position.
One day, Evans could get his chance for revenge.
"I wasn’t expecting him to have a game like that," Evans said. "But he’s definitely an elite quarterback and somebody who will be high in the rankings this year."

Florida = JUCOU?
June 20th, 2013 06:57pm
UF leads for JUCO D-linemen Lambert, Lamin
by Zach Abolverdi
Florida could be the verge of turning into JUCOU.
This past weekend, UF brought in junior college defensive linemen DaVonte Lambert (Milledgeville, Ga./Georgia Military College) and Abu Lamin (Fort Scott, Kan./Fort Scott C.C.) on official visits.
UF took the lead for them during their trips.
Lamin's conversation with UF coach Will Muschamp sold him on the Gators.
“It’s Florida,” Lamin said. “Top-notch school and one of the best teams in the nation every year. There’s not one game they don’t play on T.V., and I love that.”
The highlight of Lamin’s stay in Gainesville was speaking with coach Will Muschamp.
“He just kept it 100 with me,” said the 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive tackle. “He brought me in his office and we talked about my role in the defense. He told me they need me and I’m their type of guy. To hear that from the head man, it was amazing.”
As for Lambert, he enjoyed seeing Florida’s strengh and conditioning staff at work.
“That really stood out to me. They train their players like an NFL team. So knowing I would be ready for the next level if I come there, that impressed me,” said the 6-foot-3, 278-pound defensive end.
Florida's recent history with JUCO players appeals to Lambert.
They two visitors were hosted by UF’s Damien Jacobs and Trenton Brown, who was Lambert’s teammate in 2012. The former JUCO players made an impression on the D-linemen and got them thinking about joining forces at Florida.
“They were telling us it’s the right move to make,” Lambert said. “They had to go to junior college, but so what. Now they’re at the University of Florida and they have an big opportunity. So it shows that it doesn’t matter if you go to Florida through the JUCO route. You still have a chance to ball out.
“Me and Abu talked about doing it together. Playing with him would be a blessing. I wouldn’t mind lining up next to him any day of the week. He’s a player.”
Although the Gators gained the edge for both prospects, they aren’t making their decisions just yet.
Lambert has trips planned to Tennessee and Auburn, while Lamin will visit South Carolina and possibly Georgia. But those schools seem to have their work cut out for them.
“They can try their best to see what they can do,” Lamin said, “but I just don’t see anybody living up to the expectations of Florida. My heart right now is with Florida.”
Lambert shared the same sentiment.
“Someone is going to have to turn their school upside down for me if they’re trying to take the lead,” he said. “Florida set the bar real high.”

Definitely not looking good for him, destroying his phone, home security tapes and having his home professionally cleaned. If nothing else it certainly gives the impression he is hiding something. I don't remember hearing much about past character issues. Was he in trouble in Gainesville too? Sad when you see such a talented player doing things that may destroy his career.

Aaron had issues with hanging with the wrong crowd and using Mary J while in Gainesville.

I still cannot imagine how he thought turning in his cell phone smashed into little pieces and erasing all his home security tapes was not going to draw a little attention.

If he didn't do it, he's covering for his girlfriend. My thought is he did it and covered it up. Aaron has anger management issues. The police are going to build their case before making the arrest.

This is a heckuva recruiting pickup by UF. Khairi Clark is a stud. All indications before his visit were that Miami led for his services. Being from south Florida, Hollywood Chaminade Madonna, his 4 star ranking is like 5 stars everywhere else. What say you Darrell?:

Florida received a verbal commitment Saturday from U.S. Army All-American defensive tackle Khairi Clark of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood.
"Just committed to the University of Florida," Clark wrote on his Twitter account Saturday.
Clark is a 6-foot-2, 325-pounder and on ESPN's top 150 list. He is also listed as a four-star recruit on Rivals.com.
He is the 11th verbal commitment, which are non-binding until a player signs a national letter of intent, in Florida's 2014 class.

Matt Jones, a bigger and badder Mike Gillislee:
Thomas Goldkamp @goldkamp247 Will Muschamp said Matt Jones weighed 230 and ran a 4.4 40-yard dash at Florida's team "combine" other day. #Gators

Wowzer! 6'2"/230 and runs a 4.4 40. That's an outstanding combo of size, power, and speed.
