Looks like Jeff Snook has picked up on and his sources are pretty solid. Sounds like it is more than just Olave, too. Some bad news leaking from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center: At least one very prominent starter on offense and several others have tested positive and will miss Saturday’s Big Ten title game against Northwestern. I will not release the names. If the game would have to be canceled, it will not be rescheduled and Ohio State’s hopes for making the college football playoff probably would be gone. The BT office announced earlier that this would go in the books as a forfeit, and would give the Bucks a big L. So no doubt about playoff chances being gone.

Saw some quotes Coach Fitzgerald, who reminds us this is not the 2018 (45-24) or 2019 (52-3) Northwestern and Ohio State teams. It goes back MUCH further than that...63-14-1 all time, with a current eight game winning streak...They last beat us in 2004, our last'bad year' before 2011. And how about 2013? They won their first four games, and played us pretty tight. Then, in the second half, when the Mildcats started to unravel, you could see it in Fitzgerald's eyes... "HERE WE GO AGAIN!" Fitz was 0-2 as a player, 1-4 as an assistant, and now 0-7 as HC. He's snake-bit.

If you haven't seen it already, an O Vs D comparison... Northwestern will stay with OSU thru 2 quarters___The 2nd half should be pulling away. OSU should win by 21. Lots of 'should'.....Halftime adjustments have been lacking this season

Sources: Ohio State Buckeyes, Northwestern Wildcats clear COVID testing for Big Ten championship game 9:39 PM MT Adam Rittenberg ESPN Senior Writer
Ohio State and Northwestern both have cleared final COVID-19 testing ahead of Saturday's Big Ten football championship game in Indianapolis, sources told ESPN.
Players and coaches on both teams had to pass a final layer of conference-mandated testing Friday after arriving in Indianapolis. A source said No. 14 Northwestern came out "100% clean." Northwestern has not reported a single positive COVID-19 test from a player or coach all season.

I believe the Buckeyes pass the eye test but it would help if some people on the playoff committee forgot their contact lenses....

I believe the Buckeyes pass the eye test but it would help if some people on the playoff committee forgot their contact lenses.... It shouldn't even be a question. Assuming the Gators drop out of the top 10 after their loss tonight, the Buckeyes will have a top 10 win to aTm's 0, and two top 25 wins to aTm's 1. Throw in championships won and it is a no brainer.
