Trey Sermon has emerged as a bonafide stud. 524 yards in his last two games, 74 more than Zeke had in the CCG and Semifinal in 2014/2015. That has to be a huge lift to the offense knowing they don't have to rely on Fields and the WRs to win us a game. Still giddy after last night... #GoBucks There's a bonafide stud on the other side too I'm more scared of Smith to be honest But Alabamas offense has plenty of weapons

His issue there was with the then RB coach, Jay Boulware. Boulware is gone...back to his (ugh) alma mater Texas. Not many at OU were sad to see him leave. During last night’s game saw a link on an OU board where Boulware was getting shredded over Sermon on Twitter by a bunch of OU fans, including Baker Mayfield. Was pretty funny stuff. I went to read some tweets "How's UT," Mayfield tweeted, referencing Boulware's decision to leave the Sooners for the Longhorns following Sermon's transfer to Ohio State Boulware responded to Mayfield, saying, "And thanks for recognizing how well the RB’s I recruited are doing."

I didnt like the targeting rule last year when it went against us and I still didnt like it last night when it benefitted us___that rule needs to be revised or eliminated____ my .02 Hate targeting with a passion. I understand why it was created but it hasn't done anything but ruin games and take good players out of those games

I didnt like the targeting rule last year when it went against us and I still didnt like it last night when it benefitted us___that rule needs to be revised or eliminated____ my .02 It's a terrible rule because of how it is enforced. I understand the spirit of the rule but Wade last year and Skalski last night should not have to sit out the rest of the game for hits like that where there was clearly not intent to injure. Give them a penalty and let's move on.

I must say, that was somewhat impressive. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Thanks, good way to start the year off with a bang, eh? Great hard-fought win last night. They played LIKE a team and won AS a team. This group has the brotherhood mentality that is necessary to win. I can't wait for January 11th and am hoping for a repeat performance.............GO BUCKS!

I didnt like the targeting rule last year when it went against us and I still didnt like it last night when it benefitted us___that rule needs to be revised or eliminated____ my .02 I agree with revising the rule, but last night did not contribute to that thought. That was 'spearing' before 'targeting' became the buzz word in football. Lowering the head to make a hit is also a damned good (or bad) way to end up paralyzed... I always taught "HEADS UP TACKLING" to my players.

I remember sitting in my easy chair on the outskirts of Heidelberg, Germany on the night of 29 December, 1978...that was a 15,344 day wait from last night...GOD, that was great.
