Chase Young is the fourth Buckeye in five years to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award from the Pro Football Writers of America.
Young was named by the PFWA as the 2020 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year on Tuesday, continuing a trend of former Ohio State players winning the award that started with Joey Bosa in 2016 and continued with Marshon Lattimore in 2017 and Nick Bosa in 2019.

Some good news!!!__ WR Chris Olave announces his return to Ohio State for his senior season From what I understand, everyone has the opportunity to say 2020 didn't count, and even if "JOE" played every snap, he's eligible to come back. ( I don't know about the 85 scholly rule, etc) But from what I've read so far, Munford, Ruckert, Tyreke Smith, and Olave have announced they're staying. Oh, and Mickey Marrotti... Declaring for the draft, I've got Wade, Hilliard, Sermon, Myers, Fields, Davis, Togiai, Browning, & Christman. Fields needs another year...imo

Agree. He never really found his groove this year, sans the Clemson ass whipping. On a related note, Haskell Garrett announced he is staying. That is huge!

Declaring for the draft, I've got Wade, Hilliard, Sermon, Myers, Fields, Davis, Togiai, Browning, & Christman. Somehow missed Cooper (361) & Borland (343)...and now have to add Werner (494) ... Going to go back & add the snap counts of those leaving... DANG!! Losing a HELL of a lot of experience...a team that had a dang good chance at back-to-back NCs.... #1 (practically ONLY) QB #1 RB (One SR WR on the team, only played Special Teams snaps all year, & Olave the only real possibility for early departure) TEs Luke Farrell and Jake Hausmann are both seniors, but neither has made an announcement that I can find about their intentions. #1 & 3 OL(Davis & Myers) but Muford & Lil Brother both return over 500, Miller over 400, and Matthew Jones over 200...OL will be fine next year. Losing #1 DE in Cooper, but returning Smith & Harrison with both over 200 snaps Losing #2 DT in Togiai, but Garrett (311) & Antwuan Jackson (189) return. Lose #1-4 at LB...ouch. Top returning experience is Teradja Mitchell W/95 snaps & some ST play. Out of the secondary, we only lose Wade, who led the D with 520 snaps...But then, once again, they will be a big question mark next year. Banks had 483 snaps, Williamson 414, Proctor 354, & Hooker 288. Spring ball is going to be interesting this year.
