No 1 Georgia beat No. 14 Clemson 34-3. Strong defense held Clemson in their own territory all first half, and a solid Georgia offense scored 28 points in the second half. QB Carson Beck completed 70% of his passes and Georgia rushed for 169 yards.
Punter Brett Thorsen continued his streak from last season by not having any of his 4 punts returned, and averaging 48 yards per punt.
True freshman RB Nate Frazier ran 11 times for 83 yards, an average of 7.5 YPC and caught one pass for 24 yards.
