The Second Amendment made it clear that the PEOPLE have the right to KEEP and BEAR ARMS.In the field of fighting and self-defense, ------ and limiting arms to one-man weapons -----, we have a whole lot of LEGAL ARMS to choose from. ALLOWABLE arms are sharp edged bladed swords, machetes, tomahawks, combat knives and bayonets, pocket knives either with fixed blades or mechanically folding knives, to list a few of the obvious ones. A rounded stiletto blade in a retractiable handle is legal.
Also protected by 2A are oriental weapons such as bo staffs, nunchukas, kubatons, etc. I keep my original kubaton on my main keychain just as I did when I was a cop. Not even courtroom guards recognize it as a weapon. They think that it is just a handle to swing keys on, which is pretty dangerous in itself. They made me take my extended handcuff key off the ring, but they stupidly let me keep the kubotan.
Farmers' implements are recognized self-defense weapons as well. Pitchforks, shovels, sickles, scythes, --- you name it.
When we get into FIREARMS, everything that launches one projectile per trigger pull (except shotguns) and is not crew-operated is perfectly legal. They are all either pure single shots, manually operated repeaters, or semiautomatic sporting arms.
NONE of them are purely designated as "weapons of war," despite gun-hating socialists attempts to do so.
You 2A haters don't even KNOW what you are objecting to.

PREACH!! Full auto out-the-front and side opening knives are legal to carry here. I have a large collection of high-end examples but my EDC is my trusty Spyderco Military which I can open using the Spydie flick just as fast as any auto knife.

They are dangerous. If I did, it would be a full-sized military combat knife or an M-1 carbine bayonet, both of which I DO own. When I was a cop, I carried a USAF pilot's survival knife that had a hook blade on it. It was basically a normal two-blade pocket knife, with one normal blade, and the other end, the hooked blade. It was designed to cut through parachute cord, but it could be used to safely cut through a jammed seat belt without endangering the wearer.

Quick opens and closes with one hand. Nicknamed "Swifty". Something I just don't need. I don't name my guns or guitars, either. Scruffy nicknamed my '91 Les Paul Studio "Katrina" because it got discolored in the hurricane, but that was her name for it, since it was "her" guitar when we played together. I tried to give it to her recently, and she wouldn't take it. She's in very poor health these days.

Sorry to hear that about Scruffy. All my knives are nicknamed Swifty so it's not like I'm giving everyhing different names. Only one of my guitars has a name. "Blondie", dedicated to my wife.

The closest I get is with my Y2K Les Paul Classic Reissue, or whatever they call it. It's in the perfect dark honeyburst color, perfect 60's slim taper neck, perfect set of WCR Fillmore humbucking pickups with brushed nickel covers, and a shaved down "Axcess" style neck heel on the treble side of the neck. Obviously that guitar is known as #1, and it is the only guitar I will never voluntarily relinquish.
