LSU played like shit tonight against the Nicholls Colonels. AGAIN!!
Forget the final score. Forget Nussmeier's 6 TD passes.
LSU's D again showed that a good passing attack can eat them alive.
They made too many mistakes on both sides of the ball.
The team had too many penalties ---- none that I could blame on the refs, either.
Nussmeier and Kiran Lacey both got injured, but it looks like they will be OK.
The Tigers are going to have get MUCH better to beat South Carolina next Saturday.
At least I can get a nice laugh from NottaDamn Team being beaten by NOBODY!

You do this every season and Lsu miraculously manages pretty well, 12 team playoff this year, Lsu has time to work out the kinks.

You do this every season and Lsu miraculously manages pretty well, 12 team playoff this year, Lsu has time to work out the kinks. That's the idea. Although the players and coaches won't read this, I'm hoping the vibes will float to them anyway, and they start getting serious. SC isn't ranked, but they ARE 2-0 and an SEC team.
Losing to USC-W won't hurt LSU a whole lot, but losing to USC-E could be a big problem. It's way too early to think about playoffs. Win games one at a time, and the playoffs will take care of themselves.
GREAT avatar, BTW!
