...to the ineptitude from late 2014 to 2017 when they lost something like 50 of 55 games. ugh.

...to the ineptitude from late 2014 to 2017 when they lost something like 50 of 55 games. ugh. That 2nd quarter was brutal with the turnover before halftime ....defense was balling all game too, shut them out in the 2nd half. Watson doesnt have an internal clock because damn he needs to take off running when the pocket is collapsing...the damn strip sack killed the team

the good news for the browns is they do have lots of talent and a really good coach. just sometimes you get one of those years where everything goes wrong. but in the NFL these days, you can bounce back pretty quickly.

Recent history suggests there is hope. In the last 25+ years, I think only two teams have had perfect records. Detroit and Cleveland. Look at Detroit today. Rumor has it Haslam wanted to bring back, Bernie Kosar only because Otto was dead. The Watson experiment was clearly a tragic error. But Cleveland isn't alone. Look at the Jets.

So….Baker going 29-30 in Cleveland was actually pretty damn good. Who knew? 😎 the list I saw had baker at 30-30 as a starting qb, which not only makes him the winningest (by total wins) qb in the last quarter century, he's #8 on the all time list of browns qb's for total wins. brian sipe is 1st for total wins, going 62-63 in the late 70s-early 80's. otto graham is 2nd in total wins w/58, but easily #1 in win pct at 58-14, an amazing 80.6%. he doesn't get enough love as one of the all time nfl greats, but that was also 6 centuries ago. lol

Look at the Jets.the jets may be hapless, but they still gave rodgers 'only' $75m in guaranteed salary. the browns gave watson $230m. this year's collapse is not just him... the o-line has been a m-a-s-h unit all season so far... but even when he's had time he's been very shaky.

the o-line has been a m-a-s-h unit all season so far... And Joe Thomas played 10,363 consecutive snaps for the Browns. V today, hard to believe.

well who could have guessed that jameis winston would be the spark for the browns offense? he played great, plus some divine intervention perhaps on the dropped pick coming the play before what turned out to be the winning td pass?? perhaps the divinity coming from the spirit of long time browns play-by-play announcer jim donovan, who passed away after multiple bouts w/cancer the day before? certainly was a ray of sunshine on a tough weekend and tough season for the team and for current/long suffering fans.

It's hard sometimes being a Browns fan....played right with them for 3 quarters. you mean 'sometimes' as in 'some time from 1994 to today'?? . that 4th qtr was a disaster. thought winston was a little too pumped up to be back in the big easy... was overthrowing a ton yesterday.

I thought Brady Quinn was going to be the franchise QB when they drafted him in 2007 along with Joe Thomas....Brady fizzled out and now he criticizes quarterbacks on Fox Sports...smh
