There was NO conclusive video evidence to overturn that call, but the refs gave the game to Miami anyway.

So who says a piss poor ruling can't determine the outcome of a game?

Actually thought the correct call on the field should have been incomplete pass. That said, I agree that once they ruled it complete, I didn’t see anything conclusive to overturn it.

It was an all around poorly officiated game. The holding call on VT’s touchdown run was criminal.

Can’t believe with all this money, they’re still handling the game with non-professional referees. So many problems with NIL money too.

I mean, I’m not an expert…but this is a ridiculous level of incompetence in the game right now.

I don't know what you were looking at but the VT receiver never controlled the ball. It was moving when he hit the ground and then came completely out before being touched by our player out of bounds. Absolute incomplete pass and dead ball.

I don't know what you were looking at but the VT receiver never controlled the ball. It was moving when he hit the ground and then came completely out before being touched by our player out of bounds. Absolute incomplete pass and dead ball.

The call was called completed pass on the field.  Without concrete evidence to overturn it, the play MUST stand as called.

I watched the replay as many times as everyone else did.

You could see NOTHING that warranted overturning the call.  Guessing doesn't count.

VT was robbed.
Miami got a tainted victory.  Congrats.

What I saw was the ball in control of the receiver.  Nowhere is it said that he must have both hands on the ball.  FTR, I was looking at it as a neutral observer.  I had no dog in that fight.  It's just pure happenstance that I watched the game at all.

The bama/UGA game turned out to be one of those SEC heart attack makers.

LSU failed the test against USC, and they haven't looked very good in the wins, either.
