As long as you're doing your highlight show, what's happened to Usc?? From top 5 preseason to out of the polls after 5 games? USC was never top 5. That's crazy talk. The consensus preseason 'round here was roughly 9-3. That said, I certainly didn't expect to lose to Minny. My bad, i was thinking preseason/first week rankings, surely it was top 10? I mean its USC!😆 |

Well, since I am not a bettor, you are probably right, and of course controlling the ball is a big part of winning, along with scoring more points than the other team..
Then we have Arkansas beating #4 Tennessee, and Texas A&M knocking off #9 Missouri.
There's some strange happenings in the SEC, but at least Flarder didn't lose to UCF, like I thought they might.
Texas will most likely scoot up to #1 and Ohio State #2, but that doesn't mean a whole lot right now. Still got a long way to go.
But do you think I'm right about a whole lot of broken TV's in Bubba Land?

Watched most of the game. Bama could not stop Vandy, like...AT ALL. It was a dominant offensive show, and Vandy had just enough D to make it stand up. As I watched, I got this feeling that it wasn't the teams as much as the game plan. All day, Bama's D just could not figure out what was coming next. IMO, Bama was just plain outcoached. here's my question post vandy upset. 2/3 of the crowd at the game were alabama fans. and yet sec rules state that $100k fines go to the visiting school whenever there's a 'storm the field' aftermath. imho the commodores should be exempt, at least this one time, as a thank you for being so generous for so long to so many league opponents.  |
