In case you're interested, (not including airfare and lodging to get to LA), the game tickets are running about $1500 for the absolute worst seats in the house; upper deck in fair territory above the bullpens. For a seat behind home plate on the field level, get ready to pay about $20K. In the seating area I sat at in that'65 game, (and I remember it like yesterday, about even with 1st base on the reserve level), those seats are going for about $3k each. I'd guess the game will have about 100 million dollars changing hands somewhere to someone to get a seat.

If you really want insane, I heard on the radio yesterday that parking....PARKING!!...is $400, thanks I presume to Frank McCourt, who as a condition of ridding him from Dodger ownership, still owns the parking lot around the stadium. If you want to drive to the game, you have to buy a ticket to the parking lot!

If you want to drive to the game, you have to buy a ticket to the parking lot! And as a result I'm sure Uber, etc will also charge premium prices. ++ if you can get an off-duty copper as a driver.

I heard a fun fact yesterday, which, if true is both an indication of the times and of inflation. Price of a ticket to the first NBA finals in 1947: the most expensive seats in the house were courtside for $2.50. Cheapest seats were 25 cents. I ran an inflation check. $2.50 in 1947 is equal to roughly $35 today.
