VANDERBILT IS ALABAMA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS!

Vanderbilt has beaten both Alabama SEC teams this season. Vanderbilt is bowl eligible already. Auburn at 3-6 still has UL Monroe, Texas A&M, and Alabama so it is highly unlikely they will even get to go bowling. Alabama, with 2 losses already, could miss the Playoffs if they lose to LSU Saturday. The Alabama bumpkin fans would go absolutely crazy should that happen. We can only hope.

bama and LSU are both 6-2.  Neither team played this past weekend, but the bumpkins rose 3 steps in the rankings while LSU only moved up two spots.

That being said, LSU has no running game, weak pass protection, butterfingered receivers, and NO defense.

The ONLY thing the Tigers have going for them is Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

And we'll have to listen to the College Game Day crew blather about the mighty bubbas.

If they happen to show shots of the river from the area of the state capitol building (they usually do), look across the river and you'll see MY town.
You won't see the U.S.S. Kidd, cause she is down south getting some much needed repair and refitting.

I didn't say it is guaranteed.  I said it is basically LSU's only hope of winning.  Tiger Stadium at night is much more intimidating than in the daytime.  100,000 people have had ALL DAY to get fired up for the game.

I watched Brian Kelly talk about the bama game today, and he praised the tide and said that he saw no weakness in their team anywhere.

I am surprised that alabama opens as only a 2.5 point favorite.  I'd expect it to be at least 10.

After Vanderbilt knocked Alabama off, the Bammers were so stunned that it took some home cooking by the officials to beat South Carolina and then the Volunteers took them down. The upcoming LSU game will make or break their season. Their final three games are Mercer!, Oklahoma, and Auburn. Alabama and Texas had the two easiest schedules in the SEC and neither will get through without losses.
