She’s a public figure running for office. Crime is a huge issue. Especially in her and my state. Her reluctance to specifically detail her position on so many issues combined with walk backs on so many from 2019 to 2024 cost her the election. Had she taken a public position on the crime and punishment issue particularly in our home state where she was in power when a prior proposition passed, no one would have had to ask her how she voted to get an idea what she thinks. She tried to pander to both sides at once and it cost her big time.
