Absent the theocracy, they said the same thing about FDR, who, some say, really was heading down that path. But he ruled in some difficult times so maybe that's what it took. IAC, he is considered one of the best. We shall see what the future holds. While your concern is valid, may I suggest you keep your eyes focused on your entrepreneurial business and grow it as best as you can. Making money, for me, is not a bad thing. You seem to be involved in an underserved, captive community, who have money to spend, ripe for expansion into other services.

My firm does offer a group plan, but now that my one paralegal is aged out and now on Medicare, I've fallen below the group level necessary and will likely have nowhere to go except the marketplace. The one upside is that with that, they can't deny me, or more specifically, my son, due to his pre-existing condition. Same for my wife, who is diagnosed with lupus and also has a traumatic brain injury. Without insurance I'd never be able to afford the cost of their care.

If the marketplace wasn't there, I'm not sure what I would do. Trump has never, in 9 years, offered an alternative plan for the problems that stem from health insurance. In the only debate, he was asked point blank about his plan, and he admitted he had no plan. He had "the concept" of a plan...which, let's be honest....means, "no plan".

If the GOP follows through and repeals Obamacare, there are going to be a lot of people plunged into a world of hurt who actually voted themselves into it.
