Like I said, a Trump win signaled to those paying attention that a transfer of wealth from poor to rich is on the horizon. A lot of people made a lot of money doing absolutely nothing last night. I would likely have paid higher tax on capital gains had Harris and the Dems won. I'm not one of the losers by having Trump win. Notwithstanding the probable increase in the federal debt that Trump and the GOP will serve up and the problems that portends, generally speaking, I'm a winner. I don't get pregnant, I white, I'm male, I have a college degree and am a professional; I own my house free and clear, and I'm on medicare and don't have to worry about Trump F-ing up the health insurance industry... in short, there's virtually nothing I have to worry about with a Trump win other than WWIII and/or a climate catastrophe. |
