Some of these races are so slow in being counted and so close in calling, that anything between 220-222 republican and 215-213 democrat should not be a surprise.
Yes, republicans are going to control the House, Senate 53-45-2 with King and Sanders caucusing with the democrats, and the White House.
Trump will be in Washington on Wednesday to influence the Senate to select Rick Scott of Florida as Majority Leader of the Senate, errrr, I mean to meet with Biden in the White House, probably to thank Biden for his help in winning the election. Besides Rick Scott running for Senate Majority Leader, John Cornyn of Texas and John Thune of South Dakota are running. Cornyn and Thune are not MAGA, are part of Mitch McConnell's leadership team, and will not be open to Trump's MAGA agenda. Thune went on a talk show after the election warning Trump to stay out of the Senate election. I hope Trump privately kicks Thune in his nads while he is in Washington. Trump's ability to do incalculable good starts on Wednesday with the election of Rick Scott as Majority Leader of the Senate.

President Trump should issue specific invitations to senators when he wants to discuss matters and never include Schmuck Schumer. Well, we are rid of McConnell finally. Pelosi out last time. Hopefully Chuckie is next. Winner! We don't need McConnell's leadership team either. John Thune can take his clown car and go back to South Dakota. He had the audacity to tell Trump through an interview after the election to stay out of the Senate Majority Leader election. We all darn well know Trump is on borrowed time and can't allow an anti MAGA/anti Trump like Thune rise to the majority leader. I'm in the boat of anyone is better than John Thune. We may as well have the democrats controlling the agenda. John Cornyn isn't much more palatable than Thune, but he does get along with Trump and might be persuaded to go with Trump policies instead of his own. Still, he helped write the immigration bill Kamala Harris touted during the election which was nothing more than selling US citizens down the river to second class citizenship in favor of illegal aliens. No, not undocumented immigrants. They are coming illegally across the borders or are being flown in by Biden/Harris. Rick Scott is by far the best choice. He is pro MAGA/pro Trump. He has already stated he will work with Trump in every way to meet the president's goals. He recognizes the mandate the American people have given Trump, and he will do what it takes to see the people get what they voted for. The vote will be held secretly. I don't like this at all. The voters in the states deserve to know how their senators are voting. |

President-Elect Trump is speaking through Elon Musk. On Sunday afternoon, Musk endorsed Rick Scott for senate majority leader.
The sides are forming, and some senators are announcing their support decisions. I respect those who are willing to go on the record. Those who do not should be on Santa's Naughty List. Voters and state republican parties in their states should hold them accountable.
Those who do not voice full support for Trump's mandate should be held accountable in their states whether they announce or not.
